Membership for 2024
A seasonal membership provides access to our seven outdoor courts and the use of our online booking service; there are no initiation fees or court fees for members. We offer a variety of programming to enable new members to meet players of a similar playing level: Challenge Ladders, Social Doubles, Tennis Socials, Group Lessons, and Club Tournaments. Players at every level are welcome.
Members receive reduced rates for lessons and junior programs.
The club officially opens on the last Saturday in April, but nets are often up earlier, weather permitting. The club's office closes on the Thanksgiving weekend but nets remain up until the snow arrives.
Membership Types
Adult
Over 18 years of age at the time of membership purchase
Couple
Two adults in a relationship, both persons residing at the same municipal address,
or
One adult and one child of said adult, either under 18 years of age or a full-time student. Both
persons must reside at the same municipal address.
Family
Parent(s) and their children, who are either under 18 years of age or full-time students, all residing
at the same municipal address.
Student / Under 25
Under 25 Years of Age and/or enrolled in school full-time, at the time of membership purchase. Proof may be requested.
NON-PLAYING Memberships
Non-Members
Many of our camps, lessons and programs are not exclusive to members, but non-members will need to register as such in order to enroll themselves or their children.
Social
These are special memberships for those who no longer play tennis but still like to occasionally return to KTC for socials! Contact a steward to set this up.
Terms & Conditions
All members are expected to adhere to our Club Rules. The KTC reserves the right to cancel the membership of anyone whose behaviour is contrary to Club Rules or causes any damage to the club. Incorrect age or student status declaration will result in membership cancellation by the Club without refund.
New Registration, Renewals
New Membership: Two methods:

Click on any of the Join Now, Log In or Create Account buttons on the KTC website or the Memberships pages to get started on creating your account. When you click on Create Account, you can fill in your information including your membership type and payment info, then click on the blue CREATE ACCOUNT button to complete your registration. If you are creating a Family or Couple account, you will be able to add your Family Members after you’ve created your account.

From the Memberships page, you can also first check out the different Memberships that KTC offers, then pick one and follow the steps to create your account.
Membership Renewal:

Those of us with existing KTC accounts can renew their membership by clicking on the Log In or Renew button on the KTC website. Log in, click on Memberships, then please click on the green JOIN MEMBERSHIP button for your membership type to register your transaction, and on the next page you can edit your info. At that point you have two payment choices: Option 1: With a credit card on the same page. Option 2: If you would like to help KTC save 3.4% in cc transaction charges and keep down the cost of membership fees, you can simply log into your bank and pay by e-transfer to treasurer@kingstontennisclub.com. We will then quickly process your payment and activate your account at the same time!
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Payment for KTC memberships is due at the time of registration is non-refundable, except for medical reasons. Requests must be in writing and accompanied by a doctor’s injury-specific letter. Credits are pro-rated and a $35 cancellation fee will apply. Credit will be issued within two weeks from the date the request is made.
Registration is non-transferable, and applies to the current season only.
